Our process will help us curate projects to serve as a “by hotels, for hotels” how-to guide on locally verified, cost-saving, eco-conscious hotel operations strategies. Education, awareness, and scaling of best practices can help our hotels become a positive force for our local economy and environment.

We'll help you identify areas of opportunity at your property, focused on sustainability ROIs. We can analyze detailed historical financials, physical asset specs, existing operational strategies, and most importantly, future budgets and performance goals. We can also discuss any sustainability opportunities that your team currently has in place or may be considering.
Important COVID-19 Note: We love to work in-person and on-site. However, given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and strain it has placed on the hotel industry, we want to help hotels continue to keep guest and staff health a top priority. We can discuss virtually-based alternatives to minimize health risks while still maximizing project outcomes.

Once we understand baseline metrics, together, we'll select a relevant, approachable, scalable sustainability project. Projects will be custom-designed to help you achieve profitability goals, streamline operations, and optimize asset performance.

4) Implement + Document
We'll stick with you every step of the way to work through challenges and see the project through to completion. Ecolodgical's goal is documentation of the implementation process, not just the results. We want to capture the decisions, risks, and detailed considerations that go into these projects along the way - how will this impact guests? What are the cross-departmental implications? How is the project received by property staff? Documention serves to maximize ease of replication in the future.
5) Measure Impact
You can't manage what you don't measure. We want to understand and quantify project impacts, both in increased profit and reduced carbon footprint, as well as relevant investment metrics for owners, such as return on cost and project IRR. We can help you prepare project summaries and case studies for various stakeholders.

We’re hoteliers helping hoteliers, spreading best practices, sharing real results, and taking action together.
